Cabo

beloved friend of Kevin Westrope, President/CEO of Westrope

A stately and much-beloved German Shepherd, Cabo was adopted by Kevin in St. Louis in 1995. The little Shepherd was picked out especially for Kevin for his mild temperament, which was apparent even as a puppy. Kevin originally wanted a girl, because he had previously owned a rescue Shepherd named Sheba. But the match between Kevin and Cabo turned out to be perfect.

Cabo grew up to become a big, handsome, and very obedient dog. He was especially good with other dogs and animals, very sweet and sensitive (although his herding instincts would occasionally take over). Cabo was very gentle with his adoptive brothers, Stan and Ollie (both schnauzers). Cabo patiently endured endless licking and wrestling when Stan and Ollie were puppies. Later, Cabo and Stan would sometimes play tug-of-war and, if neither one let go, Stan would inevitably become airborne, while Cabo swirled him around like a circus act.

Cabo lived a long, happy life. Kevin and his many friends miss scratching his belly and playing fetch with him.
